Pershing County High School would like to showcase our volleyball team!
The team quote for the season is:
"Work Hard, Play Hard"
We have went to South Tahoe and Yerington for pre-season tournaments. Our first game we won in 3 sets to Oasis and our first home game we lost to North Tahoe in 4 sets. We have a very talented and committed team of 12 players on Varsity and 10 girls on JV.
Our Varsity coach is the returning and highly dedicated Monica Halverson. We also have a new JV coach this year- Coach Courtney Brinkerhoff who brings a lot of enthusiasm, energy, and experience to our program.
Our Seniors for the season are Emma Blondheim, Kenya Vaughan, Chealse Woodard, Laura Gomez, Mia Canchola, and Jaymie George.
